Part-Time or Full-Time Basis Delivery Associates

New York, NY: We’ve got good food, now we need good people to deliver it! We are looking for part-time and full-time Basis Delivery Associates to assist with deliveries to customers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and other parts of New York City. Candidates should have driving experience and must be passionate about and interested in learning more about good food. Interested candidates should know that this position offers great potential for advancement over the coming months as our business grows.

Responsibilities: Basis Delivery Associates are responsible for providing efficient and safe delivery of good food from local farmers to customers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and other parts of New York City. A Basis Delivery Associate operates a truck or van, and also operates a hand truck to assist when making deliveries. Our Delivery Associates pick up and deliver orders to the appropriate destination within a scheduled time. They are expected to provide professional customer service and must be organized and punctual.

Qualifications: Successful candidates must be passionate about our mission.  You will be part of a team committed to making good food, from good farmers, available to our customers at affordable price points.
•    You must be 21 years of age or older, with driving knowledge of NYC Streets
•    You should be able to clearly communicate in English; Spanish language skills a plus
•    You should be able to work a flexible shift (mornings and/or evenings)
•    You should be comfortable communicating with customers and farmers
