Farm to Chef is a service provider that helps to bring together small and mid-size farmers with the growing number of wholesale customers (including chefs, retailers, and institutions) who want to buy the traditional, localized and 100% traceable food that they produce.

The Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA) is a 501c3 neighborhood business association dedicated to promoting the area's business interests, producing events and managing a marketing and public relations campaign for the neighborhood. Additionally, the MPIA recently became a partner of the NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) to redesign, manage and maintain the public spaces of our neighborhood.

We'll take farm fresh veggies and turn them into tangy, delicious treats to take home and enjoy. We'll also show you what sets our eggs apart from the pack (hint: it's all about the yolks – and our hard-working hens)

Wrap and roll with the Sylvia Center--your favorite fall vegetables into a scrumptious Vietnamese Summer Roll. Touch, smell, and guess the weight of Winter Squash from The Sylvia Center's Children's Garden--guess the correct weight within one pound and you cantake your favorite gourd home!

Come Join Organic Valley and enjoy several great kids' activities focused on Organic food and wellbeing. You can choose to Moo for a tattoo, spin the Wheel O' Farming for a prize, or make Organic butter between 1:00pm and 2:30pm. We'll also be sampling our New York Fresh Milk, which comes from the finest farms in your back yard. Organic Valley products make a difference you can actually taste!  The proof, as they say, is in the pudding…and everything else you create in the kitchen.

Good Food Stories. Come join Pete Huszagh of Let Loose Mother Goose Productions for dramatic readings of contemporary children's stories that emphasize the importance of healthy eating. Laughs, crafts, and a new found respect for vegetables.
