The 30 Project is committed to bringing about big-thinking change to the current food system over the next 30 years so that all people have access to the nutritious food they need to thrive. It is cornerstone of a multi-platform social impact campaign that is gathering a coalition of partners focused on various key interventions to improve the food system.

Just Food has been the leader in connecting local farms to NYC neighborhoods and communities since 1995. Our mission is to unite local farms and city residents of all economic backgrounds with fresh, seasonal, sustainably grown food.

The Meatpacking District Initiative is a 220 member business association with members from Gansevoort to 16th Street, who have come to the area to create a hotbed of style, design, fashion, nightlife and culinary innovation.

Basis
Founded in 2008 in New York City, Basis is a mission-driven company committed to good food for all. We are passionate about good food that is traditional, localized and 100% traceable. We partner with farmers and local communities to sell good food at affordable prices.

The FEED Foundation
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to ensure nutritious school meals for all children as a first step to improving the global food system. In partnership with FEED Projects, LLC, the FEED Foundation has provided over 50 million school meals to children in the developing world through the United Nations World Food Program school feeding operations.

ON SEPTEMBER 19, 2010, FROM 11AM TO 4PM IN GANSEVOORT PLAZA, Basis and The Feed Foundation co-hosted the first annual BACK TO BASIS™ GOOD FOOD FESTIVAL in celebration of the season’s harvest. By day, the festival featured traditional, localized, 100% traceable food from 30 family farmers and local top chefs. In the evening, farmers, chefs and a select group of ticket holders came together for a seasonal, farm-to-table dinner to celebrate good food. Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the good food! We'll see you again next year...

Here are the amazing restaurants and farms who made the event such a great success with their delicious and imaginative tastings. Click here to see the menu for the evening's dinner!
